Hey great post. How do you all manage to write such long posts when you are on an operating system like Windows. I'm trying to make a blog like yours and I also am having a tough time with it. Do you use any special program to get everything together? Or maybe you just have a lot of free time on your hands.
Reply is to an old post by Devaraj or Parthavoor, idk which. He's quoting Sri Suktam Tamil in the "Durgavati" verse but adding commentary of his own. Here's the link to his post if you want to check it out. http://www.saraswathi.org/god-introspection.htm
Thanks so much for your blog! I am desperate to gain new insights into knowledge to bring balance into my life, and your website and your meditations are definately helping me along! I am pleased to see that I am not the only one who is not quite sure about "who" exactly these darshan-s are for. In the sutras it's written that they are for God, so why does Sri Suktam say they are for Pushya Bhairava? I've sent your blog to a friend of mine who is studying Sufism, who has recommended that we read the Hymn of Amrutha as recommended in the Mahabharata. This Hymn seems to have many parallels to Sufism: The Creator's command leads us to joyous worship of Him, Whose wisdom is greater than our own. Since many of you have sent it to me, I'd love to tell you what I think the Hymn of Amrutha is in Sufi terms. But first I have to read it very carefully. Thanks again.
